Peru cancels its second anchovy season: fishmeal against soybean meal, October 2026
Exposed · Supply chain · deduced · Heat, 2026-10-16
“Vitapro también presentó los resultados de la diversificación de las materias primas utilizadas en sus formulaciones.” — source, 2026-11-03
The article on Ecuador's shrimp feed costs under El Niño shows Vitapro, with a feed plant in Ecuador, reporting on diversifying its raw materials. That it does so because of the anchovy shortfall is inferred from the article's context; the quote itself does not name fishmeal or Peru.
