The federal release names Zurich airport as the site threatened with a jet-fuel shortfall, caused directly by rail failures and indirectly by the shift of Rhine cargo onto rail; up to 30,000 m3 were released from compulsory stocks from 15 October to 1 November. Whether any flights were affected is not shown, and the airport operator itself does not buy the fuel.
